The music on this LP is reminiscent of Nicolas Jaar-type material, which is not very surprising considering mst was released on Jaar's Clown & Sunset label.

The man is 55. Producing this kind of music is a wonder that has to be embraced by the old fans and discovered by the young ones.

What you have here is some very enjoyable, well constructed, witty at times, hook-laden at others, good old fashioned yet at the same time tailor-made-for-2013 rock music.

On this high production value LP, Kendrick opts for issues that are close to his heart and is able to deliver them with giant sized dollops of panache and lyrical dexterity.
