Wikipedia's def of Zamrock is "a musical genre that emerged in the 70's in Zambia. It is described as a combination of traditional African music with psychedelic rock and funk".
What it doesn't say though, is that Zamrock is pure, energy driven socialite organic groove, making a Zambian hippo dance its hooves off. I know.Crazy, right?
This album is a nice intro to this amazing music genre, with crazy tracks such as "Chifundo" and "Kangalaitoito" psyching the groove and "Blood Donor" and "Evening of my life" mellow as the sweetest pear.
Intend to Get Havoc then!
