Harold Budd - The Pavilion Of Dreams

It feels like a film movie. The whole thing.

From the majestic and mystic album title, to the tone and style of music, this is an extraordinary meditative and dreamy experience.

A certain Brian Eno produces, a titan of ambient music, Harold Budd, composes.

Bismillahi Rrahman, song that starts the dream, has Marion Brown and his ever so smooth alto sax, leading the proceedings through a meticulous composition.

Then, voices from heaven descent from the red sky to put this on a new level of listening where everything gets a meaning.

A nice glass of brandy and some dark chocolate flakes is recommended.

Listen as a whole, this is not a Top10 hit, this is an original and serious artefact.
